This year's race was tougher than
2003
despite less participants. Devin's car went off track
in his first two attempts, which should have put him out of the competition. But after a
few other cars started jumping the track, the race was stopped. The track was fixed and
the race was restarted from the beginning. Devin's slightly damaged car still managed
to win the 3rd place trophy!
In the adult's division my entry went undefeated, although most of the matches were very close.
Kim's car also did well with a win and a tie before being eliminated.
My racer also won the adults versus kids race.
All in all not a bad year, but I think Devin's car would have placed higher if it
wouldn't have taken a few tumbles. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get alot of good "action" shots, but
here are a few pictures from the 2004 Pinewood Derby!
